What to bring

We provide all the fly fishing equipment that you may need (flies, rods, reels, waders etc.) so that you can travel light.  Everybody is shaped differently and sizes and gear is limited - please enquire first through the contact page as to availability.  Of course most keen fly fishermen prefer to use their own gear and this is perfectly okay with us!

Bring warm clothing, rain jacket, wide brim hat, polaroid sunglasses, and of course a camera!  During summer, polyprop leggings are preferred to keep the sandfly's at bay.

Whenever possible clothing and equipment should be natural subdued colours, this is to reduce the visibility of the angler to the trout. New Zealand trout spook very easily.
